This coming Sunday, the Rygaards Catholic Families Association, will present 25 young Catholics to Sankt Therese’s to receive the Sacrament of Communion. The children have completed their instruction and will now stand together in Faith and demonstrate their commitment to God. The RCFA would like to take this opportunity to thank the children for their dedication to their learning. Also, to the parents for their role in supporting their children, this church and each of their schools, with their own service and love of their Faith. Thank you.

Please come and join in and share some festive wine and traditional Danish treats. There will be some games and some singing but above all that we will share the joy of the Christmas season together.

There will be a meeting on November 5th at 13:30 to make decisions and arrangements to ensure the RCFA children have a Christmas Party.

On June 11th, at 10am, there will be a joint mass for both our school and the parishioners of Sankt Therese.

This, extra special joint event is part of our continued Prayers for unity across the world. As the weather seems to be holding there is the possibility of a bouncy castle and food will be available for the children.

Åsebakkevalfart 21 May 2023:

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, a bus transfer to Åsebakken will be arranged. The bus to Åsebakken leaves from Sankt Therese church at 8.15: Therefore, you must show up at 8:00.

Next pick up is at Sant Andreas Church: Here the meeting time is at 8:15 with departure at 8:30.

The first stop – for those who want to walk all the way through the forest – will be at Poppel Allé in Holte, from where the pilgrimage departs at 9.15.

The second stop – for ministers and those who cannot walk the forest road – will be at the Monastery of Our Lady on Åsebakken.

Third stop – for those who want to walk halfway – it will be at Bethlehem, the 19 km stone on the King’s Road.

We drive back to the churches after the Devotional, which is at 15:00.

Welcome back everyone, we hope you had a wonderful Christmas, full of the things you needed most.

Ash Wednesday – All Catholic children at school will be attending mass on Wednesday 22nd at 9am to receive their Ashes.

We wish all our families and friends peace and joy this Christmas. While you are away we ask that you look after each other and when you come back we continue the work we have started to bring our community closer together. We hope, with your renewed energy and commitment, together we can keep making the Rygaards Sunday service a moment of real connection with God and each other.

Unfortunately, after the mass today we will be unable to gather as the room is being used until after 2pm. I apologise for the short notice but look forward to everyone joining in the Family Fun, Advent activities in the Old Gym next Sunday. (See News and Events for Advent information)
